How we started

Ziggy's was founded by Dr. Sonya Leggett, BSc(Hons),PhD, BVetMed, VetMFHom, MRCVS – a holistic veterinary surgeon.

In her words........

"In 20 years of working with domestic pets, horses and farm animals, I’ve used homeopathy, acupuncture, nutritional advice and, where appropriate, allopathic medicine. I’m a member of The British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons (BAHVS) and The Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA).

Long experience has shown me that a significant factor in many animal diseases and behavioural problems is an inappropriate diet.

My solution? To open a pet shop specialising in high quality supplements and food, including raw meats, as well as all the very best accessories for the whole range of small animals."
