What's on offer at Ziggys - more than just a pet shop!

The biggest difference between Ziggys Pet Supplies, and other local pet shops is that we were founded by a Holistic Vet and we have a Holistic Vet on site.

On - Site Holistic Vet

Dr Julia Ledger-Muennich is a Holistic Vet who believes in treating the root cause of illness, and not simply the symptoms. Many insurance policies cover holistic treatment, and our team can help you with this. Julia is here every Monday from 2pm - 7pm and is on an appointment only basis.

Travel Clinic

Coming soon we have a highly experienced vet joining us who will be running a travel clinic. During these clinics your dog will receive the necessary legal vaccines and paperwork required to take your dog, cat or any other pet abroad. At Ziggys we understand vaccines aren't for everyone and so after the process we, as a team can support your dog holistically with homeopathic remedies and professional advice.

We are pleased to offer one to one holistic grooming at Ziggys on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Prices are based on breed and condition, please click here to contact our team and find out more.

Nail Clips

We offer nail clips on an appointment only basis for £11.50. Please click here to contact one of our friendly team to book.

Weight Check Ins

If you need a regular weigh - in or even just want to pop in, our scales are always available! It's useful to know your dog's weight in regards to how much to feed them!

Monika from Pawz and Relax joins us on Monday mornings from 9am to 12pm!

The main three categories that benefit from Myotherapy:

  • dogs with chronic musculoskeletal conditions causing compensatory issues and pain
  • working and sporting dogs
  • dogs recovering from injury or surgery

After an initial assessment Monika will use the combination of the following complementary therapies tailored to the individual dog's needs:

  • Myotherapy - a form of muscle therapy which focuses on the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated pathologies
  • Reflexology - is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the paws and ears
  • 3B laser - low level laser therapy reduces pain and inflammation in joints and relaxes muscles
  • Photizo LED red light therapy
